Focus Mode
Press Ctrl Shift F to hide everything but your words and drop into a calm, distraction-free draft.

When you just want to write, Focus Mode clears the desk. The toolbar, the chapter drawer, and every panel step out of view, leaving your page alone in a quiet window. The line you're writing stays centred as a typewriter scroll keeps it in place, and the rest of the page softly dims — so your eye rests exactly where the words are appearing.
✦Quick start
- 1Press Ctrl Shift F (or choose Focus mode from the Tools strip) while writing.
- 2The chrome fades away and your active paragraph settles to the centre of the screen.
- 3Write — as you move down the page, the current line stays comfortably in view.
- 4Press Esc (or Ctrl Shift F again) to step back out; everything you had open returns exactly as it was.
What Changes
- The toolbar, chapter drawer, saving indicator, and side panels all disappear
- A typewriter scroll keeps the paragraph you're editing centred on screen
- Every other paragraph gently dims, so the active line is where your eye lands
- A small "Focus" pill in the corner (and Esc) brings you back
