week two!!

last week: pass 2 on Reflection Thief, pacing only. got through ch 1–11. cut 3,200 words and an entire subplot about a lighthouse keeper that i loved and nobody else did

this week: ch 12–22, same pass. the middle. pray for me

who's revising? drop what pass you're on and what you're hunting for. small counts. fixing one scene counts

    Less a pass, more a hostage negotiation. Chapter 4, cutting every joke my daughter didn't laugh at. Which is most of them. Down 600 words, up one hat.

    counting in. pass 3 on a 900-word piece. hunting adverbs, and any sentence that explains the feeling instead of letting the weather do it. one read-through a night this week
